Privacy Policy
Steel Peak Studio (“we”) builds custom steel signage and trophies. This policy explains exactly what this website collects, why, and what happens to it. It is deliberately specific: we would rather tell you what we actually do than publish a generic notice.
The short version
We collect nothing until you submit the quote form. There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels, and no third-party scripts of any kind on this site. Simply reading these pages leaves no record beyond ordinary web server logs.
What the quote form collects
The quote form is the only place this site asks for personal information. When you submit it, we receive whatever you typed into these fields:
- Your name and email address (both required, so we can reply)
- Your phone number and company or organization (both optional)
- The product, quantity, budget range, and timeline you selected
- Where the piece will live, and your description of the project
Alongside your answers, the form software records your IP address, browser and device type, and the approximate city and country those suggest. That information is used to trace spam and abusive submissions, not to build a profile of you.
The form also includes a hidden anti-spam field. Ordinary visitors never see or fill it in; automated bots usually do, which is how we discard them.
How we use it
We use what you send us to prepare a design proof and quote, and to correspond with you about your project. That is all. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with anyone for marketing, and we will not add you to a mailing list — there isn’t one.
Where it goes
Each submission is stored in this website’s own database and emailed to us. The email is delivered by Resend, a transactional email provider acting on our behalf; the contents of your submission necessarily pass through their systems in order to reach our inbox. Our website and its database are hosted on our web host’s infrastructure. No one else receives your information.
How long we keep it
We keep quote submissions and the resulting email correspondence indefinitely, because a commission may be revisited, repaired, or reordered years later and the original brief is the record of what was agreed. If you would rather we didn’t, ask and we will delete yours.
Cookies and local storage
This site sets no cookies. If you switch the site between dark and light appearance, your choice is saved in your own browser’s local storage so the page doesn’t flash the wrong theme next time. That preference never leaves your device and is not readable by us. Clearing your browser data removes it.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will action it — there is no form to fill in and no account to log into. If you are in a jurisdiction that grants you additional rights over your personal data, we will honour them.
Children
This site is aimed at people commissioning fabrication work and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes
If we change how this site handles personal information, we will update this page and change the date below.
